Getting up in the morning not as easy for everyone. For some it is just easy, for others it is torture. I did not like getting up early and it was just hard to get out my bed in the morning. In this blog post I will give you some tips on how to become a morning person or how to make the morning a little bit easier.
Go to bed on time
This might sounds super cliche, but it is so important. If you stay up all night how do you expect getting up in the morning will be easy? Count the hours of sleep you have left the moment you go to sleep. Keep in mind that you need at least 6 hours of sleep. This does not mean going to bed 6 hours before you have to get up, unless you are one of those lucky asses that falls asleep the moment you lay down in your bed.
Put your alarm on the other side of the room
Most of us use our phones as an alarm to get up in the morning and also put in under our pillows during the night. This makes it way too easy to hit snooze over and over again. If you put your alarm on the other side of the room you have to get out of your bed to stop it. This way you are out of your bed and you will wake up much faster.
Drink some ice cold water
This will wake you up from the inside out. If you drink cold water in the morning everything in your body will get activated intermediately and also your brain which makes you feel awake in no time. Not only is this to wake you up, but it also starts your metabolism which in the end helps you to lose some weight. ( Note: you need to do more that drink cold water in the morning to lose weight and be healthy)
Plan activities in the morning
Planning activities in the morning will give you an obligation to get up. It automatically goes better when you do need to get up. This tip is mainly for students or people that work from home. If you have to go to work each day this obligation to get up is not the same, but you can still try to plan to meet a friend right before you have to go to work.
If the tips listed above do not work to help you get up in the morning there is still that beloved cup of coffee you can have in the morning
